Story behind the song
Napoleon and I met down in Sac and hooked up with Dame on unrelated business. We figured we might as well knock something out, hoping to hook up with Hollis. But he was booked, so we thought we'd have to do it next time. But instead, we linked up with Collage, an up and coming beat maker with knocks. After connecting at a studio in Stockton, we recorded this track which could have been a banger if something didn't work out with the technical aspect when we sent the song to Tacoma for mixing. Here it is though, a bonafide hustler's anthem reppin' HighSide up and down the coast. I originally wanted to use my first four bars as hook on "We Can Roll" but BG Church didn't feel it fit the song. So the lyrics ended up here.
