Story behind the song
Angel & Tommy was not only the closing track of BZ's Demo '94, but also served in homage to a horror movie being filmed in our neighborhood at the time of this recording. The 1995 film, DEATH METAL ZOMBIES (produced and directed by Houston indie film legend, Todd Jason Cook, released by Screamtime Films) became so much a part of our lives in 1994 that we felt obligated in our own, special little way to add a thumbprint to the effort.
