This is a song I wrote on my own. I think it's one of my best production tracks so far. The flow sounds kind of like "I'm Sorry Momma" but the song is about what life's gonna be like after I'm gone, what am I gonna be remembered for.

Story behind the song
The idea to write a song like this came to me a few days before going away to college, and the thought that I'll be missed around here, but how? I try to think of how I "break the cycle" every day, as I say in the song. The song is supposed to be serious, but the intro is kind of like my "signature"
Lyrics
Verse 1: If I gotta go there is quite a lot I will leave behind I don’t mean those material possessions by which we’re defined. If you’re a person that has met me you likely won’t forget The cool, unusual way I do things and the time we first met The memories will stay in your head, last for days opon days The way I live, I hope that first impression won’t go away I live to break the cycle every second that I am breathing Keep in mind that believing does not always mean seeing. My mindset’s different than about 80 percent of America Sometimes it’s cool sometimes it’s weird but to me it’s all very good I wish opon the star my dying day won’t soon come. I wanna break the monotony and try to just have some fun Chorus: I got a legacy I wanna save Always open in thoughts, not afraid to be brave All my life lessons have come to a fact When I am gone my thoughts will always come back Verse 2: I’m looking for a girl that sees through the weirdness, only sees The exciting, nice and fun person there is deep in me Unfortunately the woman in my life doesn’t exist She is replaced by music, around which I always find bliss I want my music to be played right until my dying day Even when I’m not around the sound I create won’t go away Even in towns where I don’t go no more they know of my style The fingerprint in memories I leave won’t erase for a while If you don’t see me no more, you’ll probably laugh at my thoughts Remember all the pain relief, good times, and music I brought. And even though you think it’s the end I’ll be seeing you soon After I leave one, you’ll always feel like I’m in a room Chorus Verse 3: I also wanna be recognized for my pure intellect I got into my school for a reason and I can cash my own checks But as an adult let loose into our society I don’t quite wanna be crazy and reckless as I may seem You gotta remember all the wild and crazy things I have done When I think that my life is dull I spice it up with some fun I got a formula for success talk and then back it up Can’t have one without the other, it wouldn’t fill my half empty cup I always finish what I start, I don’t work any other way now I didn’t in 8th grade, back then I was just a cool clown I’m real cool cause I don’t listen to anyone else I am nothing but my own god and I believe in myself Chorus (Repeat 2X)
