Story behind the song
WE HAD BEEN WITH BANK OF AMERICA SINCE 1995 AND HAD EXPERIENCES WITH THEM HOLDING MY DEPOSITS WHILE CHECKS CAME IN AND HITTING THEM WITH OVERDRAFTS BUT THE FINAL STRAW WAS WHEN I CASHED A GOVERNMENT CHECK AND DEPOSITED PART OF THE MONEY IN MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. MY WIFE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND I WENT TO BUY TIRES LATER THAT NIGHT AND THE BANK HAD PUT MY MONEY ON HOLD SO I COULDN'T PAY FOR THE TIRES AND HAD TO GET A RIDE HOME SO I COULD PAY FOR THEM THE NEXT DAY. I DECIDED TO CHANGE BANKS.

Sounds like Bank of America are the same as many financial institutions all around the globe...and none of them will accept that their poor trading and investments have resulted in a global collapse. Great lyrics, straight to the point and very true! It's about time some of the individuals involved were made to answer for their actions - unfortunately corporations are faceless and unaccountable. It won't affect their pensions or bonuses so they're indifferent to the plight of their customers. Excellent song.
