This was the first song I composed using only black keys. I decided I wanted to make a song that has something different to it beyond just the sound, and I figured going back and forth between the black key notes and some slight electro moments would solidify the song as separate from the rest in terms of atmosphere, painting a more yellow-ish, gold, and faded grey environment, with brief spots of color through the keyboard notes.
