Heidi Wolfson is a Philadelphia singer-songwriter. In her fourth decade of making music, Heidi is taking a slightly softer approach... but her music remains vocally interesting and the lyrics are definitely worth checking out. If you like Patti Smith, you will probably like Heidi. Have fun and thanks for listening.

Story behind the song
Although this song is corny, and doesn't go anywhere musically, I was having fun with it. Every once in a while I write an old-fashioned, wholesome country song. This was my first (if you exclude the S & M reference).
Lyrics
SINGING TELEGRAM (1979) This is just to tell you that things will be different When I come home I been doin' lots of thinkin' Since I've been alone I will give you all my love And all my body too But I won't call you daddy no more No matter what you do I won't call you daddy no more You can spank me all you like You can take my candy away for a week But I'll still call you Mike So when I come home, put your paddle away And don't pull it out no more 'Cause if you start acting like my daddy I'll walk right out the door This is just to announce in case you forgot That I'm a big girl now And I've been doin' a lot more growin' Then you would allow I've hitch-hiked my way across the country And slept with a dozen men So don't expect me to call you Daddy When you see me again
