Pearlie Mac, notorious founder/leader of the N.A.A.C.P. was born in Mississippi in the mid 70's. Although rapping all his life, the artist claims that his second grade principal is the reason for him ever wanting to become a hip hop artist. Pearlie Mac began to take the music industry serious in 2003 by recruiting a few artist and starting his own record label Mac N 4 Millions Ent. While incarcerated in Mississippi in 2007, the CEO/Artist and his fellow inmates were told to write the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People three times a day for seven days. This command was mandatory, no matter what gang or affiliation. Instead of receiving advice, guidance, counsel, or support; the inmates desperately received no reply. When released, Pearlie Mac decided to develop an organization of respectable leaders throughout the south called the N.A.A.C.P. True, you have probably heard of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People but this is not what Pearlie's acronym stands for. Mac makes it clear that NAACP with a period after each letter stands for "Niggaz All Around Chasing Paper". Pearlie Mac has signed and worked with many artist in the past and also plans on doing the same in the future. His main artist Young Rhodez is the cousin of his belated best friend Cleveland "Ezell" Wilson who was murdered not long before his interview on April 1, 2012. Pearlie has stretched as far as Louisiana, Texas, and California signing and collaborating with various artist such as Bun B, J- Dawg, Z-Ro, Lil KeKe, Knocturnal, Twisted Black and many more. Pearlie has another young artist he just signed also named Razza from Louisiana. With his southern dynasty and numerous ways of getting money; Pearlie Mac plans on reaching urban listeners and people who understands the struggle. "Everyone has a story to tell." says Pearlie Mac.
