An old hippie-days classic from the Woodstock era. My tribute to Country Joe and whoever first wrote Muskrat Ramble.

Old rock band guy from the '60s. Bass player mostly in bands. Play guitar, piano & mandolin for fun. These recordings are things I've made at home.
I'm a semi-retired musician who has been playing music since the 1960s. I have mostly played bass in the bands, but I also play guitar, mandolin & piano.

Story behind the song
I've known this song since the '60s. It's really fun to play on guitar or piano. When I got a multi-track digital recorder, I wanted to try something fun with a massive vocal chorus. I did a lead vocal and then sang 8-more backups, plus guitar, bass, piano, and had too much fun drinking brandy and playing with the drum keys on the Zoom one night. This is what I ended up with.
