He looked as if he were late for his plans.
She asked him what he wanted in life.

I was walking and I saw a man.
He shook a jar and held out his hand.
I asked him what he wanted in life.

And the courage to continue.
I’d like patience to cope;
To inspire hope.”
Sitting outside, I’m enjoying the sun.
A man approaches, out of breath from a run.
He turns at me, and asks “What do you want in life?”
“Open-mindedness to see.
To make time for afternoon tea.
Intuition to foresee;
To let go freely.
Understanding to integrate.
