NOT SURE OF THE STORY ABOUT THIS SONG BUT I CAN TELL YOU IT WAS A HONOR FOR MARK TO GET TO SIT DOWN AND WRITE AND BECOME A GOOD FRIEND OF HANK COCHRANS,
Laine and Lorrieanns story about this song was. We sent some original classic country songs Laine had recorded in Chicago in a studio, sending them to producers in Nashville thinking they will love it . NOT . They said they wanted fresh new music, so back to square one. We started looking for songs we could buy. I had a Nashville Business Directory, from 1995 thumbing through it Lorrieann kept coming across the name Mark Dreyer. So Lorrieann called Mark set up appointment to meet with him about some songs and doing a full Cd in his Studio , Lakeside Recording Studio23. Before even meeting us he said I got great song that I had the honor of writing with Hank Cochran , sad to say the same week all this was happening Hank Cochran passed away so we never had the chance to meet him, but Laine loved the song and put it on the cd Out Going Male. we hope you all will enjoy it . It is a never before released song written by Mark Dreyer Joey Gunn , and the late great Hank Cochran.
