I am grilly; all these musics were written and multi-tracked by me, except where i say. i don't try and do any style of song in particular - largely, though, i make song-based tunes, consisting of guitar music augmented with the aid of my multi-track computer. so quite normal, then. i have prog and electronica tendencies as well, and i'd best describe my music as::: prog-pop.

Story behind the song
wrote and recorded in about 3 days, from fiddling around with funny tunings to writing a whole story about killing my wife. i don't know why. i guess the fact that edmond is the guys only friend, to me, means the protag has no friends and edmond is only his friend because he's actaully shagging the protag's wife. that's how i feel about it.

when i get home from work, you're already there and what is this bright object in your hair? have you been sleeping with edmond? well i wouldn't mind, but he's my only friend and i'm not letting you go can i ask you a question, if that's not to rude did you have him in this house - did he eat my food? and did you take him, into our bed and did he take you or have i been misled? and i'm not letting you go so i pick up the pan and hit you to the floor and then i open the cutlery draw and now you're lying next to me in a pool of blood and i'm crouching next to you crying out in floods but i'm not letting you go you made a mistake and paid the ultimate price just because i was only ever nice and i hope, he was juat a piece of fun oh will you forgive me for what i've done? so the police came and took me down town and asked me why i'd hit her to the ground so i explained thr eel ett ers ata tim e so i could plead insanity and get off the crime but they never let me go.
