The current operater of music is Bryan Donatz, 22, Cali Subliminal Criminals is, for the most part, a one person band. Don't let that fool you though; Most of the music was set up and recorded without the automated sequencing of play back, and was really performed in one take at one time, although the music remains with profession sound quality People come and go within this 'band', and that's the beauty of it; We (possibly) OR I beleive that music is the soundtrack for life, and thus involving all its diversities makes it hard to enter a single genre. What you hear is a recording of the feeling and the the moment and the concious creativity that takes place everywhere, whether it be flowing over a beat, or the sound of being trapped, to the sound of ambience or trick-hop

Story behind the song
When I was kicked out of my house in Los Angeles, I was around 19 or 20. At the time I didn't have very many places to choose from living in, so the best choice at the time was with my dad and his wife in Simi Valley, California. This was a completely white town (very little minority), very policed, isolated, and sort of non-toxic, unlike my roots in L.A. Sooner or later the environment of cleanliness took hold of me and I started producing a sound that relates to being free, hence the name, Escapee. Eventually I ended up moving back to Los Angeles.
