Love song in 3/4. One of my better songs. Might be some Janis influence in this one.

Heidi Wolfson is a Philadelphia singer-songwriter. In her fourth decade of making music, Heidi is taking a slightly softer approach... but her music remains vocally interesting and the lyrics are definitely worth checking out. If you like Patti Smith, you will probably like Heidi. Have fun and thanks for listening.

Story behind the song
I believe that this is in my top five songs to date. Was heart broken at the time. I was caught between two relationships in a way that only a twenty year old could be. This song is passionate and lets everything out. I still love to perform this song. Especially with the accompaniment of Rob Lincoln's violin. Unfortunately, I don't have a good recording of that..... definitely on the next CD.
Lyrics
BLUE AGAIN (1978) C F G Love has left me blue again Love Make me new Please please C BM F Am (adding 7th) The neon bottle calls me as I walk by Calls to my heart as blue as the sky Sees through the smile When this little girl cries F G It don't promise to make me new Or take away the blue But it sure can make these dreams of you seem true Love has left me blue again Love Make me new Please please If just for a moment, we walked through a field The picture in my glass let me know it was real In that moment I gave you all that I feel You took it from me and smiled let me know you understand As the bartender took the money from my hand Ohhh... Baby, you see... There's something in the world stopping us from getting it together Something keeping us from being where we want to be Oh maybe the world's too polluted, and we’re too clean Or maybe the world's too crazy and we’re too sane But whatever it is that's got us, it looks like they win 'Cause were just not equipped to play with this pain Ohhh.... Love has left me blue again Love, make me new Love, make me new
