Me and my guitar, the lyrics are introspective. To me they have a definite meaning, but for other people the meaning is different. Some would call the lyrics
It's me and my guitar for now. I played in another band , which is on an indefinite hiatus from which it may never return, in the meantime, I'm still playing music. It's a release for me. Biochemistry is a stressful major, the guitar keeps me less insane than I otherwise would be. Things to keep in mind while listening to anything I've written (especially the things with lyrics): 1. I'm hardly normal 2. I am a Christian 3. I writes about my life, and since God is a part of that life, it's bound to come out in my songs

Story behind the song
I wrote this song in about 10 minutes. It came out almost complete. I had tuned my guitar down a whole step in order to get the feeling I wanted, so originally the song was in C, not in D. I was probably depressed or something and I felt like projecting myself into a person who had just lost a loved-one before their time. Perhaps a child, perhaps a mate. This is what came out.
