The Stringsmiths formed in late 2008 whilst still at high school to play functions. Since then they've developed their sounds and played more serious gigs, including at the Gaelic Hotel, 'Station Street Sessions', Engadine Bowls Club and live on-air at 2SSR FM. The Stringsmiths took out first place in the 2011 Sutherland Shire Battle of the Bands and are now working on their promising first studio recordings. The four-piece will be featured on ABC3's 'Stay Tuned Presents' later this year and has other exciting opportunities coming up with both media propsects and live shows.
