This song took 10 years to write! Apollo started writing parts and played versions with various friends (Mimi, Gillian, Brandon) in the early 90s. In the mid-90s he practiced finger picking by playing the lead & rhythm parts simultaneously with disastrous results. In 1999, the Apple-O lineup of Apollo, Dawn & Matt performed the song in New York City at JK5 studios with 2 guitars & hand drums. Apollo continued crafting the song and recorded it in Fort Lauderdale for "The Romantic Journey" CD (released in honor of his and Dawn's wedding), playing all guitars & drum machine (Boss DR-660), recorded using a Tascam 464 cassette 4-track and no effects or mastering. In 2005 a new lineup of Apple-O (Apollo/Paul/Patrick) performed the song at the Earl in Atlanta for "Dunch".
