Story behind the song
Another song that I wrote for the guy who sent me some basic beats, & asked for lyrics to go along with them. Again, no word on them, & nothing on the radio like it.... Yet(?) If I have more of a distinct melody with more instruments, I can write better lyrics. Like the piano piece at the end of Eric Clapton's Layla, & all of the Big Band horns on Benny Goodman's real long version of Sing, sing, sing,(With a swing!), with Gene Kruppa on the drums. It's like the music tells me what it wants to say. I have some original instrumentals on tape from another band, & I put 3 different sets of lyrics to one of them. One for a woman to sing. It's real quick & easy for me to do, but simple beats get simple lyrics.
