I've been creating all kinds of songs for over 30 years, but I never sell any of them. I try to give them away to charities that have musician spokespeople, but

Story behind the song
I responded to an ad by a Japanese college student named Fumiko, & joined their little singing group. One of the other young women was named Yukari, & she had to go back to Japan, so I wrote her this song, but made sure that her friend who was translating it to her made it very clear that it was greatly exaggerated, & that I was not really as broken-hearted as it sounds. She was very embarrassed anyway. I made it a point to put in the line about not touching a hair on her head, in case her family read it, & thought that we were being dishonorable in any way. ( That's not her in the photo. )
Lyrics
I, don't know what to say to you, I'd do anything I could to make you stay, We, both do what we have to do, And I know your heart tells you that you must go away. I, just met you & it feels so good, Though I know that when you leave me I'll be sad, Things, don't turn out like we hoped they would, But you're the prettiest Japanese friend I ever had. You, impress me with your humble grace, Even though I've known you for such a short while, A flow~er's blossom couldn't touch your face, Nor all the pearls in all the seas out-shine your smile. You, appear to be so soft & shy, And I could never feel your lovely hair, The moon, could match the gleam that's in your eye, And I feel honored just to breathe your air. We, may never get to sing as one, Perhaps we'll meet again when you return, Still, I'd have to say that it's been fun, And deep inside my soul a torch will burn. We, have both lived very different lives, Oceans away & worlds apart, We, have different views of men & wives, But when you leave you'll take a piece of my heart.
