A vocal track that anyone can finish producing, alter in any way, & sell. Heavy Punk(?)
I've been creating all kinds of songs for over 30 years, but I never sell any of them. I try to give them away to charities that have musician spokespeople, but
Story behind the song
I was doodling while talking on the phone, & it started with a crab shell, then got an angry horse's head, then huge grasshopper legs, then was perched on a gigantic eel, in waves crashing on a rocky shore. It inspired a story about how they were actually heroes, then I wrote this song, based on the story.
Lyrics
The ocean was deep & dark, they crept,
While King Neptune slept,
He awoke with a laser gun, they fought,
But his head was shot,
They took the mysterious keg & swam,
Back to Viet Nam,
They didn't know what they had, but hey,
They'd sell it anyway!
The Fate of the world,
The Fate of the world,
As fragile as the face of a little girl,
The future of man, Was in that can,
They had to get it back!
He called on the zoo of the hidden freaks,
Plutonium leaks,
It was part of a locust, & a horse & crab,
With a claw to stab,
A gigantic eel with a crocodile jaw,
It had a fatal flaw,
The trident spear would make them pay,
They left right away!
The Fate of the world, ...(etc....)
A lighthouse on a rocky shore, they screamed,
Ripped to smithereens,
The blood was spilled, & the keg was found,
Then an awesome bound,
A shot from the cops made him stop & drop,
Then the eel rose up,
The keg was safe as the fire was drawn,
But the eel was gone!
The loss of a friend,
The folly of men!
