Story behind the song
My ex- & I wanted to go to a Halloween party as bride & groom, but the thrift shop gowns were too small for her, so we had to reverse roles. I was not in drag, I was in costume. I was not a girl, I was a bride. And I'm not gay. I won 1st prize. ( And made the cover of Macho Bride Magazine that month. ) She said that she wanted to go as a woman next time, & I explained that you're supposed to go as something that you're not. She saw me playing Tomb Raider, & said that she'd be her. I said,"O.K., you be Tomb Raider, & I'll be the Bride Of Tomb Raider".... Then, it dawned on me what a funny movie that would make, & I fleshed out the idea to make a full-length home video, starring me & my friends, but the project fell through. Ms. Angelina Jolie donates time & 10% of her own money to the UN to help those less fortunate, so I offered them my idea, & 100% of my share to their causes, if she could get Paramount & Core/Eidos to produce it, but I got no reply. An old classmate asked me to parody a Doors song, & this is it. :)
