Story behind the song
Self-inspired. This is about a man who is in love with this woman who is engaged to be married. Her fiance used to treat her really good....that is, until he won her over, then the true possessive and controling side of this other man comes out. He is not as kind and sweet as he had portrayed himself to be. The narrator has been so in love with this gal, that it saddens hin knowing a very beautiful heart is being destryed. How he longs to share the love in his heart with her.....Each time he sees her, he has thoughts of love crossing for her.
