Happy As Larry are five friends from the south of England. Owen and Darren went to school together and grew up as great friends. They went into business together and formed Unit 6 rehearsal studios - http://www.unit-6.com - Through the Unit 6 rehearsal facility they met many new musicians. First they met a bass player, Greyum. He introduced them to Steve and shortly after that Stone, who had been rehearsing with his other band - Templeball (Not the Scottish band), stumbled drunkenly into the Happy As Larry camp and offered to sing for them. A year went by and Greyum left the group but he was very quickly replaced on bass by Woody, a guitarist who had just moved to the area. A couple of months later they went in the studio and here we are now.....

Story behind the song
The music came out of jamming at rehearsals. The words were written after a particularly heavy herbal session where we talked all night about how to solve the worlds problems. When we had woken up, we had forgotten everything we discussed!
Lyrics
Locomotive Another night could be the end of time A drawn conclusion through reason not rhyme A twisted process and imaginary friends Serenity in heaven though it's hell in the end A stained aphrodite in a world of her own A gutter princess now her life has been thrown Discarded for Christmas, the death knell of love And if there's a god he's laughing above There's disease on the surface and a tonic to swallow The man at the top is a man oh so hollow There's more than enough for anyone to live But inside the circle they selectively give There's billions for a few and a little for a lot Something for nothing he likes what he's got I don't really need the things I don't have If only he knew those he holds in his hands There's a train of thought rolling through my head I know there's a way I can see it plain as day We can sort out all the problems of the world just to forget them in the morning
