Heidi Wolfson is a Philadelphia singer-songwriter. In her fourth decade of making music, Heidi is taking a slightly softer approach... but her music remains vocally interesting and the lyrics are definitely worth checking out. If you like Patti Smith, you will probably like Heidi. Have fun and thanks for listening.

Story behind the song
Still in my first year of song writing, I was obviously feeling a little more comfortable and lighter with the process. My friends think I don't really write funny songs, but I disagree. I think many of my songs have a dry, subtle humor. "You Lack Creativity" is the first song in which the subtle humor emerged.
Lyrics
You Lack Creativity (1976) (I don’t think that this is the whole song, but it is all that I can remember) G C G D G C G D G Young pretty faces often drifting my way All smiling and luring and trying to say They say baby, wont you come home with me? I say uh uh, darling, you lack creativity Public transportation getting you down? Make conversation and you’ll get around They say, baby, won’t you come home with me I say uh uh, darling you lack creativity C G C C7 D They say, maybe baby you can come home Because I don’t want to be all alone They say, maybe baby don’t I know you from somewhere Now I’m not sure darling, if I really care Creeping and peeping and fooling around Ah ah honey, now don’t make a sound You see I’m hoping, you’re the one for me I can see in your eyes a slight spark of creativity Public transportation getting you down? Make conversation and you’ll get around They say, baby, won’t you come home with me? I say uh uh darling, you lack creativity
