Your very basic three-chord, just learned how to play the guitar yesterday, kind of song.

Heidi Wolfson is a Philadelphia singer-songwriter. In her fourth decade of making music, Heidi is taking a slightly softer approach... but her music remains vocally interesting and the lyrics are definitely worth checking out. If you like Patti Smith, you will probably like Heidi. Have fun and thanks for listening.

Story behind the song
This is the first song I ever wrote. It sounds like it. I am guessing that someone showed me three chords, and I immediately wrote a song.
Lyrics
LOVE LIES (1976) Seems good, If I could Find what people are dying for Find what people are living for Find what keeps us around Love lights From heights Far over my head Love lies Keep us alive And maybe, someday will lay us down dead If I take it easy I can block out my schemes 'Cause silvery fairytales Are tinted with green Now I feel lonely Not at all like I seem 'Cause I'm dreaming a life And I'm living a dream Love lights From heights Far over my head Love lies Keep us alive And maybe, someday will lay us down dead

Pretty darn good for a first song I must say. a lot more sophisticated than mine. Neither melody or lyric are weak. Song structure is simplistic but it's not bad at all.
