Story behind the song
The challenge was "Fire and Ice" so I created a lyric in a folk/filk genre about the two young lovers Fire (Fi-ree) and Dice (Dee-say) who had to escape the fairy world so they could remain together

Fi-re an Di-ce
Pronounced “Fy-ree and Dee-say”

Fi-re, a forest elf
Come of age in Tir-Na-nOg
Three challenges must he meet
To earn his rights by law
And Di-ce was a water nymph
Bound to the lake by stone
For her to leave it’s blessing
Would be naught left but bone

Fi-re an Di-ce
Young lovers in their hearts
Though from two different worlds, they were
They vowed to never part
They’re from the land of “ever”
But to love they cannot stay
So to the human earth they’ll go
To break free from the “Fey”

Fi-re used his magic
To call a water spout
To cross them o’re the great divide
He dare not let her out
Cause Di-ce was a water nymph
Bound to the lake by stone
For her to leave it’s blessing
Would be naught left but bone
