Minerva came about during the summer of 2006. Band members include Jessica Schollaardt, Leela Aheer and Lauren Ireland. Together these three wrote with fervor infusing their music with complex melodic sections. Before they knew it, they found themselves captivating audiences from all over. They have played over 100 performances in their young history. Minerva’s debut CD was released in November, 2011. The title of this CD is “Follow Me” and that’s what fans did with a feverish abandon, wanting to temporarily experience the joy of Minerva’s delightful music.

Lyrics
Goodbye You Go Music and lyrics Leela Aheer Copyright Minerva (SOCAN) 2011 You see me walking down the street You forget me so easily I see you and my knees get weak And I'm fallin', fallin' Head over heels Do you, do you, do you ever want? Something, nothing, 'cause your so far gone Shake me, wake me, slap my face embrace me Confused, it’s nothing new CHORUS I wanna live inside your head for one day Then I'd be sure to know Incessant questions would be gone, gone away Goodbye you go, goodbye you go, away you go Starlight, star bright, wish on you every night I see you shining down on me What's your history, how often do you come through? I know it, I feel it, 'cause I'm living proof CHORUS BRIDGE I survived you I invite you Back into my beautiful life But no, you won't, You can't condone Your pride is too strong to sacrifice CHORUS
