Story behind the song
In February 2008 a song was penned with the working title of Dark Horizons, a sense of foreboding had been growing since around 2006, economic problems, war, starvation etc etc, the song was posted here and received 10 comments. now we are pleased to offer a re worked version of the song titled Darker Horizons NEVER HAVE THOSE LYRICS BEEN SO APT !

Guitars are taking you to darker horizons. A very good play and performance, with a full sound. Vocals, full of emotions and I love that lead guitar that is taking you, up in the air. Good job, guys!

Great guitar playing there. The question man has always faced..isnt it in this song. And hes not done so well there. Greta art great music great love and great big greed and wars. Man cant get it right it seems. You get it right though in this song.

Brilliant intro and follwing guitar solo with a tone remending a bag pipe. Great soulful vocals and bigger than world guitar solo in between. Liked the strings at the end. Beautiful song in all aspects.

I like the jangly guitar intro too, the overall sound is big, intense and clear. Vocals are very well performed (how I wish I could sing ;)!) and mixed, I get all the lyrics! Once again, great work guys, a pleasure to listen, Mauri.

A fine tune. Brilliant lyrics, heavy thoughts with the music to match. Sparkling guitar intensity, dynamite arrangement, killer vocals, rock solid rhythm section , nice synth touches.......a signature gem!

Nailed it! Love that intro, leads us into the track perfectly with a hint of what's to come. Great job with the wailing, emotional and dramatic guitar parts. Vocals are spot on, clear and well delivered, I can hear the expression and the passion in what you are singing - you've definitely established yourself as true lead vocalist, and you have been extending your range which adds so much more "kick" and soul to the song. I like the strings in the backing too, adds to the power. Brilliant job and expertly performed.
