FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Royal-T Records P.O. Box 26477 Washington, DC 20001 Royaltrecords@aol.com SARANADE LP IS ON FIRE!!! Washington, DC, April 8, 2004 Royal-T Records. Sarah-Jane Thomas, a 22-year-old graduate student at Howard University has released her first CD, the Saranade LP, through Royal-T Records, an independent label which she personally built. This scorching new album acts as a canvas for the artist’s diverse musical flavors, which can be described as “R&B with a Caribbean flavor”, as Thomas’s family comes from Haiti. The highlights of the album are “Crush”, a smooth mid-tempo groove about the possibility of friendship turning into something more; “Never Leave the Dance Floor”, a banging upbeat song featuring Mobeon of the Flipside Babies, which lyrically paints a picture of a promising encounter at a party; and “Love”, a romantic ballad debating whether or not the protagonist should completely expose her emotions to the man she cares for. Also to be noted are “The Back Door”, a song of betrayal; “Melancholy”, which merges haunting classical harmonies with new-school R&B; and “Forever”, which reminds of romantic whispers between loved ones. “I just want to get my message heard,” says Thomas. “There are other ways to make music than to degrade ourselves.” For more information, e-mail Royaltrecords@aol.com and/or look at Royal-T Records’s website at www.royaltrecords.com.

Story behind the song
I was messing around one day in the piano practice room at my school and I came up with this melody. The words are taken from a poem I wrote a few months earlier.
Lyrics
Boy it seems like you and me Are the epitome of destiny Fate had us in mind When it put you by my side And every time I close my eyes It may come as some surprise That you I see More than a friend to me... That's a sample :)
