Story behind the song
When Irene was alive, her presence was beautiful. She came from a rough up-bringing which in turn led her to Sacramento, and introduced her to us. Irene was a beautiful soul, full of so much love-happiness-and warmth. Her smile rarely ever left her face. Through all the negative obstacles that irene had overcome, and all the ones she knew she still had to face- irene still managed to give more love to everyone she knee, than most people could give in a lifetime. She is the true definition of the Rose who free through the concrete. We miss you Irene...your memory lives on.
