We all have our dark days. For a lot of us veterans who have been to war, it's almost every day. I wrote this during my second deployment to Iraq. When you're an infantry Marine, you sometimes feel like you got injected with Novocaine because you're ALWAYS numb. There a lot of us who don't like talking about it because we don't want to remember. So, I figured that I'd be their voice, to say what they can't. This song is for the Veterans who come home after fighting, who feel lost some days. Fair winds and following seas Semper Fidelis.
