Alternative Acoustic Blues
Now living in Stafford, I'm a solo acoustic blues player and employee in the world's best loved chain of coffee houses. After playing harmonica in a number of not-terribly-good bands in the hotbed of live music that was rural mid-wiltshire in the 1990s (no really!) I spent a year working my way around Australia, went to University and somewhere along the way went from playing chicago-style blues harmonica to Son House inspired slide guitar. I also sing and play guitar and harmonica in the electric blues group .44 pistol

Story behind the song
Another bit of soundtrack work. The brief was that it should have lyrics pertinent to the script and sound 'epic' (and be the same length as the edited credit sequence - hence the short second verse) . It ultimately wasn't used because myself and the director had radically different ideas of what 'epic' would sound like - he was expecting strings apparently. I thought it was rather fun to be unapologetic about the drum machine for once, so I programmed it to sound more machine-like than usual and fed it through a guitar amp to make it nasty give some contrast it with the orchestral kettle drums.
