I heard this piano piece on The Christian Jacob Trio, LIVE IN JAPAN CD, and thought it was beautiful, thoughtful, and relaxing.
I tried to reflect those feelings in the lyric.
Lyrics
I wish I were a windowpane.
I could take the summer sun's photograph,
I would laugh at the rain.
And when winter winds came along I'd be strong,
unimpatient to hear April's song.
Clouds rise so high. Cars drive by.
Passing images would shimmer the way
blue and gray pigeons fly.
And these movies that I'd direct
would mean nothing they'd just reflect
sky and shade.
