Lost In Silence

I've tried to recreate some of the sounds from the original version from way back. This version is much more of a guitar driven thing. Obviously the Silent Network version features Martin's keyboard lines and Jackie's fabulous vocals

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
A re-working of a great song from when I was a member of an electronic band called, Silent Network in the late 1980's. This is more of a guitar driven version than the original version. Our female singer, Jackie Lister sang on the original version. So if you ever read this Jackie . . .Hi !

A killer tune in every aspect, really memorable chorus lines, very well delivered, the guitars and keys sound fantastic, nice drums and basswork too, excellent!

A great tune that transcends the 80s genre - it could be from the 60s or next year or anywhere in between - a superb melodic hook that won't age. Cool arrangement too - great organ sound and the guitars are top notch as always. Tight vocal too - nice work!

Big Song, Dave - i really like that hooky chorus. There's something very comforting about it. Good to hear your music and vocal - both were enjoyable. Anne

Must have been a great band to go and see in those days. This is a classic, a great vibe and that indefinable "something" that makes a track special.

Wonderful pop number! Has all the catchy hooks and intermezzo's. The guitar and organ play nicely together!!! Classically hip!
