I love Ray Barretto, Tito Puente, and the Latin Soul hybrid that developed in New York City in the '60s. My brother Michael and I decided to cover this classic Barretto tune. It's pretty faithful to the original, except since we didn't have a horn or string section, we had to play the instruments available to us. So we substitued bouzouki (played by Michael) and accordian (played by me). Later I added some MIDI flute. We don't know Spanish, so I transcribed the words from the record phonetically. I hope I got them right.
