Guitar and Vocal demo. Guitar break parts were done by me, which is always dangerous. Remixed 2020.

This is Jeff Kratzman's Christian Page. I have two categories one for Secular and one for Christian songs. I've had a lifelong relationship with Christ and not to explore the spiritual side in music, would be foolish. I hope you enjoy the songs and take the time to follow-up on some of the Bible verses that inspired the songs. I welcome all feedback, but unpleasantness will just be deleted. This isn't a forum for theological debate. If you don't want to listen to Christian Music, try the Jeff Kratzman - Songs link. There's another 50 songs there.

Story behind the song
It always seems that when we're at our lowest point, we externalize God and pray to the ceiling. When we serve a living ever present God, who's not off in the distance floating on a cloud, passively watching us suffer. HE IS THE TRUTH AND HE'S RIGHT HERE!
Lyrics
1. On my knees in my hour of need Pleading to the ceiling to delivery me Pull the scales that cover my eyes (Acts 9:13) To show me the straight and narrow way (Matt 7:13-14) All day long I live in fear I pray hoping that You're there To hear my praise and heartfelt pleas But the truth is Youre right here 2. Ive down on the killing floor Where there was no avoid, and there was no hope Trouble at my door step, death at my bedside Without divine intervention, I could not survive 3. Its been a bleak dark day And me I only got in the way Turning my face to You gain My Lord and protector hope and friend 4. The Lords is my strength and my shield My heart trust in Him and I am healed (Matt 8:8) Therefore my heart full of joy And with my song I will praise Him (Psalm 28:7)
