The picture is of my grandsons, Noah and Jeremiah. This song was inspired by the little faces that need help and are hungry that I have seen on TV
I was born and grew up in Tennessee. Made my way to Ohio but Tennesse is still in my heart as my home.
Story behind the song
The idea came to me with the title of Little Faces about all the little children that are hungry and homeless

Verse1
Little Faces, we see them each and every day
Just fading whispers as we turn and walk away
In our cities and our countrysides too
Invisible Angels, thats what they've become to you
Verse 2)
Little Faces, standing in the pouring rain
Past the point of caring about anything
Tired and hungry in a world thats turned cold as ice
Hunger pains them like a tightening vice
Chorus:
Close your eyes, turn away your head
Run like crazy, make excuses instead
You got your life, your own problems too
Making believe there's nothing that you can do
But those Little Faces well they're counting on you
Oh They're counting on you
Verse 3)
Little faces, in the land of milk and honey
How can it be, so many so hungry
Traces of little faces stare through broken window panes
Wheres our souls when the whole world we've gained
Chorus:
Close your eyes, turn away your head
Run like crazy, make excuses instead
You got your life, your own problems too
Making believe there's nothing that you can do
But those Little Faces well they're counting on you
Oh They're counting on you
Bridge:
And when the suns sets, and alls been done and said
Thousands of Little Faces well, they've not been fed
Where they're born well they don't choose
God didn't give them for us to lose
Those Little Faces weren't born for us to lose
Final Chorus:
Close your eyes, turn away your head
Run like crazy, make excuses instead
You got your life, your own problems too
Making believe there's nothing that you can do
But those Little Faces, they're counting on you
Oh, They're counting on you
Oh, They're counting on you
Oh..Those Little Faces
