My 6 year old grand-daughter, Arwen, is probably responsible for starting this song. Her grandma asked her if she would sing her a song, and she came up with something really deep in meaning (see lyrics). I took the writer's license and completed it.
Stan loves music, is published (EMI/Capitol), and has experience performing on radio and TV when it was live in the good old days. These days he's just writing
Songwriter of pop, country, inspirational songs. I like to write. I travel a lot to Asia...so my music may have an Asian influence.
Lyrics
God’s Way Of Giving
© Arwen and Stanley Loh December 9, 2011
“There was a flower,
The petals flow gently on the water,
They show in the past,
But now in the present at last…
One is light,
One is heavy,
And they play together in the past,
And they have so much fun,
But in the present they are parted once again?

Verse 1
This is God’s way of giving,
He is never unforgiving,
He turns the green into gold,
And the young leaves grow old,
But out springs a flower,
And the snow turns to water,
Streams will journey to past,
Finding present at last,
The past was so heavy,
But the present is light,
And together like friends,
Wondrous show, wondrous sight,
Swaying together, playing together …
Verse 2
Man destroys His garden,
Without seeking out His pardon,
Trample on, they all do,
And I’m meaning you too!
There’s hope in our young ones,
For their eyes see a new sun,
Turn the grey into green,
Cleaning poison unseen,
They grow a new garden,
Broke the ground that was hardened,
And the flowers abound,
Wondrous show, wondrous gown,
Dressed up together, showing together …
