ECHOED ILLUSIONS - A band developed through struggle, pain, friendship, and trust. Once started as an acoustic project for battle of the bands, Echoed Illusions was compiled of only Matt Petrucci and Mike Howell. The band didn't last long when the group Ashteroth formed just in time for the actual show of battle of the bands at Hillcrest Highschool in January of 2007. This band included Matt Petrucci, Mike Howell, Joel Clark and Mike Lofgreen. Soon after the former name of Echoed Illusions was brought back in to use as the title for this alternative rock band. Echoed Illusions has been together as a band since December 2006 with the decrease of Mike Lofgreen as drummer and addition of Dylyn Boswell as replacement drummer. In the spring of 2009, Mike Howell left the band and Echoed Illusions added Takami Kowalski as his replacement. Soon after, Matt left to serve a religious mission. Mike then rejoined the band to take his place. Echoed Illusions just finished recording their full length album, "Beyond Then Line," which is available for purchase from any band member for $10.
