Henry George Benson IV (Aka, "J.J.") was born in Mount Holly, NJ on October 23, 1990. At the age of 18, he has already made a big statement for those who know him. He currently resides, and was raised in Browns Mills, NJ (Aka Pemberton). Most may think that he's been doing this for quite some time.. Truth be told he's only been in the music industry for under a year. Although most can't believe it, it is true. Henry started off, when he discovered that he could write very deep, emotional poems that came from his heart. His whole life, he's had a short temper. When he was younger, he'd always get into trouble at school. For years, he was filled with so much rage, anger, and hate towards himself. He hated the way he behaved, and all the pain he was causing his parents and sister. As time progressed, Henry matured. He then started looking for a new way to express himself, other then reckless behavior. He tried everything in the books, only in the end, to find his greatest discovery.... MUSIC. Just like everyone, Henry experienced the hard life of a teenager. At that point in his life, his main motivation for his songs, was to release all the pain, anger, confusion, and frustration that's been haunting him for years. His first album "The Takeover", featured a lot of songs focused on one individual, who broke his heart. He was filled with so much pain, it was the only way he knew how to get rid of it. Many may argue till this day, that it was his greatest album that he's ever made. His second album, "The New Chapter" really speaks for itself. Henry, made it over the heartbreak within a year and a half, and moved on to a new chapter in his life. Once again, with happiness, came sadness. His current girlfriend at the time hurt him. Hurt him bad. Although like the first album, it wasn't a heart break. Only a heart ache. Many may argue that Mr. Benson writes too many loves songs. Some differ to disagree. Weather it be a love song, Club banga, or a song that is out to send a message.. Henry put's his heart and soul into it, with lyrics that come from his heart, all while doing it with a "go hard" type swagga. this young man, is truly a star on the rise.
