Story behind the song
This is another "Old" song (in that I wrote it last year) which I was not satisfied with the sound of at first. I've taken it and put a bit of polish on it. When I was a kid in the 80's I really liked the band OMD who had 2 really great albums which made heavy use of the Mellotron. I was reminded of them when I found a mellotron emulation I used on this track. Its about looking back with regret at missed opportunities or impulses which one acted on but now regret blah blah blah... Enjoy
Lyrics
.... on reflection Asked a question Gained an answer Cant be right every time may be wrong that's fine Always flirting with disaster cant be wrong every time let me be right for now Find the answer Find the answer There's always something wrong but God knows better than I There will be a time when we'll laugh about these days For always and always and always Taken for a joyride Lessons to be learned The comforts in the knowing what goes around will return On reflection...... somethings wrong Words and Music (c) Graeme Lang 2010
