Did a guitar only improv on this A minor backing track. Listening back to it in the gloom of a Sunday evening words started popping into my head.

I'm sitting here and it's a Sunday
the sun is setting low
and the haunting thoughts of a Monday
I'm going to hate it - that i know
So I'll play my guitar for a while
and forget the passing of time
but I know that this lovely weekend
will soon reach the end of the line

when Monday comes along

So on Monday when I leave my home
