Story behind the song
Written in 1992, I was and still am today vividly, acutely, and conscious of what we were doing as a world of people long ago…sadly. We are at the least on the cusp of collapse…it truly may be to late…please take all the lyrical words to heart and be a voice for our planet. Please read my article published and dually recognized by The United States Department of Energy as well, as it is certainly crystallizing finally into a new collective future we must implement immediately, or fail miserably…it is truly that dire!
Lyrics
Written in 1992 – song recorded in November 2011 GOODBYE MOTHER EARTH The car that pollutes The landfills we create The wars that we fight Is it too late? The nuclear power The acid rain The ozone layer We must be insane! Politicians talk People don’t react We are losing Mother Earth and We are losing her fast! The smokestack puffs The fish they die We are losing the rain forest This is no lie Wake up and smell the roses While there are roses still to smell Our poor Mother Earth Is resembling hell React now Because talk is cheap Start working now Before we are really in too deep. OR SAY GOODBYE TO MOTHER EARTH Lyrically written in 1992, I was and still am today vividly, acutely, and conscious of what we were doing as a world of people long ago…sadly. We are at the least on the cusp of collapse…it truly may be to late…please take all the lyrical words to heart and be a voice for our planet. Please read my article published and dually recognized by The United States Department of Energy as well, http://www1.eere.energy.gov/wip/news_detail.html?news_id=16404 (you may have to copy and paste this into your browsers address bar) as it is certainly crystallizing finally into a new collective future we must implement immediately, or fail miserably…it is truly that dire!
