The Bandmembers are: Gary Lewis: Singer/Songwriter Lead Vocalist & Rhythm Guitar Damascus, Maryland James (Ed) Cook: Lead Arrangements & Sound Lead Guitar & Vocals Harper's Ferry, West Virginia Gary Heflin: Bass Guitar & Vocals Gaithersburg, Maryland Will Cole: Drums & Vocals Damascus, Maryland Bob Atkins: Vocals & Rhythm Guitar Frederick, Maryland The General Store Band-USA was formed in 1999, Gary Lewis and James (Ed) Cook had previously played in a Band together in the late 1970's & early 80's, we were fortunate to pick up Gary Heflin on Bass, Will Cole on Drums, Bob Atkins Vocals & Rhythm Guitar, all having had quite a bit of Band experience in prior years. With this much experience going for us, the only remaining thing to do was put together and take it on the Road.

Story behind the song
I have always been in support of our military. They are a wonderful group of young men and women. I have seen them wounded at Walter Reed when we played there. They are always upbeat and positive. Really makes you proud of our younger generation.
