Jamey Darnold is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/ solo act originally from the banks of the Mississippi river town of Burlington, Ia. He has released to his credit 13 full length albums that seamlessly meld country, blues, and folk styles spanning from 2004's "Burlington Bound.. a railroad town" to 2023's "The Running River". He is influenced by up and coming Americana artist such as "Jason Isbell" to the folk rock classics of "The Eagles", and Neil Young.
His strongest assets are in the singing and songwriting styles portrayed. Life's lessons endured by what makes the American dream real. The byproducts from growing up in rural Iowa and then leaving... to experience life without boundary's on America's endless trail of concrete. Now residing in rural Kane county Illinois and armed with only guitar and harmonica. He can hold audiences "young and old" and will invite you to listen, enjoy, and to reflect on all His multi-generational/ genre music styles.

Thats acoustic heaven for me listening to this. Simple but full bodied wide ranging dimensional. The harp a nice touch. Stylish Playing. Liked the whole concept.

first class picking. the guitar tracks sound like a million bucks, hypnotic and enchanting. the vocal sneaks up on you and really makes it take off. well done.

I wish that I had found this Thursday night before midnight hit, but alas it did brighten my Friday mornin'!!!!! That guitar has a nice rich sound....great tones and the depth is astonishing!!!!! Cool idea, the way you put this one together.....as if one fellow starts playing, another jumps in, then another and the singing starts.....I love the melody and the production is just outtasight!!!!!!! This song is a Happening!!!!!!!
