Story behind the song
New rays from an ancient sun. (Joe Satriani Reference) Way back in the day I was working on a really high-energy tune that eventually gave birth to the chorus riff in Day In The Sun (track 8). Rays from that original song eventually produced this tune as well. I still may dust the first song off some day, polish it up and put it on a future album, so keep your ears peeled for a prequel This song is dedicated to my wife. Lydia, this is the one that makes me think of you. Equipment: 2006 Gibson SG Standard through a PODxt Live. Recording, Sequencing, and the Drum and Bass parts were all done in Digital Performer on a Mac. oh yeah, and I think there are some more Korg X5D samples for some of the drum sounds.
