Story behind the song
My brother-in-law was married for three years and went through a five year divorce which basically wrecked his life financially and emotionally. I wrote this song a couple of years ago but never finished it. On January 5th of this year, he was found dead in his apartment. Cause of death never determined. I finished this song and recorded it. As a whole this my favorite of your songs. Though a bit morbid I think the lyrics are among your best. Great balance in the mix as well.
