Lyrics
Where Was the Rest of the World? Music and Lyrics by: Cathy Neff Where was the rest of the world when the Babe was lying in the manger? Were they too busy fighting to hear his cry, Or hear the angels sing? Where was the rest of the world when the wisemen followed the star? Too blinded by power, or greed, or self To see the light in the sky? He who has eyes to see, And he who has ears to hear Will see many treasures And hear His voice And know the peace that He brings. Where is the rest of the world while we worship the Babe in the manger? Are they too busy fighting to hear His voice, Or hear the choirs sing? Where is the rest of the world when wise men still follow His star? Too blinded by power, or greed, or self To see His light in the sky? He who has eyes to see, Let him see. And he who has ears to hear His voice, Let him hear. Copyright 2011 Honor White Stone
