Satellite 3 started as a instrumental project with Justin Storie doing production and Joey Saha playing live instruments. As they kept making music they realized they needed a vocalist. Aaron Cook was then introduced to the band. Immediately it was decided the Aaron was the missing piece.
Story behind the song
The songs instrumental originally was written and recorded by Justin Storie for his own album. Aaron Cook heard the song near the end of the "Love Was Never Enough" recording and wrote lyrics. It was decided that this should be a Satellite 3 song. The breakdown was re-written 5 times before it got to its current state. After months of just being an instrumental and 5 breakdown re-writes the song was finished. This is the first fully song recorded since the departure of former guitarist Joey Saha.
There may or may not be some auto-tune abuse on purpose...
