Story behind the song
In 1985 in my senior high school year after hearing the song, "A View To A Kill", I wrote a James Bond-type song to see if I could do it. Here is the result. Enjoy!!!!
Lyrics
Charade is the name of the game Nothing is ever the same You see one face then another You can't tell one from the other It is diguises galore You never know what you're looking for You'll always get the right time But always the wrong state of mind CHORUS Double Identity Leading two lives Double Identity Leading to lies (REPEAT) There's never a reason or why You're wondering who's is that guy But don't get too close to me 'Cause you won't know who to believe (REPEAT CHORUS) © 1985 Stat Songs Publishing (ASCAP) Rights Reserved
