Story behind the song
This song still is one of my favs, andy k aka drewpy lo came over one day n i was 2 mickeys deep just writin mad lyrics in my room. Clearly the lyrics probably werent flowin to hard that day, and he showed me this free beat n i was like sh** im downloadin this, he didnt have nothin written to it at the time besides the hook n i was like hell ya that hooks ill. So i droppped the mic after playin the beat plain a few times while he wrote up a verse, n we both started off wit the hook, n we decided my freestyle was ill, and we wanted to keep it, specially cuz this was the first track i was real open and honest bout my recovery from alot of dumb ass sh** i lost control of. Andrew said as long as the hook stayed he wanted my verse first i couldnt argue and it was set in stone. mad love to MC Jellow a young producer we both found,and follow religiously haha. straight up g, and mad love to my dude Drewpy kids got some real skill comin up quick!
